Two Tips To Reach The Beach

With many of us traveling down south during the winter months, vacation “prep” is well underway.  According to our senior esthetician Melanie, here are some helpful hints to make the most of your beauty routine before you hit the beach.

Waxing or sugaring services should be performed 24-48 hours prior to you being in the hot sun.   Sun exposure to freshly waxed skin can cause burns and permanent skin damage.

Pedicures can be done up to a week in advance.  It may be a wise decision to bring a bottle of your toe polish for touch ups, as sand has a tendency to chip even the highest quality polish.  The last thing you want is to have your beautiful toes look less then perfect.  Think about paying the little bit extra for a shellac polish manicure (and pedicure if possible) to ensure that your polish lasts the length of your trip.

Keep these tips in mind to make the most of your trip south.
